I am a second generation bronze, copper and silversmith. My mother and father started making a living by creating and selling their wares at craft markets around the northwest over 30 years ago. At one point their work was so prominent that one of their famous ornaments made it to the Christmas tree in the White House. That ornament is now incased in glass at the Smithsonian. I grew up helping my parents with the craft business in any way that I could. Needless to say I picked up the trade. I put myself through college by carrying on the family business and after graduation I decided that is was what I was going to continue to do for a living. I have taken every thing I learned from my parents and moved forward with my own twist. Every piece that I create is individually handcrafted in my studio in Eugene Oregon. |
