I live in East Atlanta, a neighborhood in the Atlanta, Georgia area. My painting themes are: 1. Environmental: this area covers a lot, from issues dealing with the Rainforests and Oceans of the world to romantic villas and the beautiful residences of the dead, old cemeteries; 2. Political and Religious: here my true blue is exposed as I show works that deal with issues from gay marriage, the AIDS crisis, and other social issues that I as an artist feel compeled to promote. I am working on a series that will document the AIDS crisis from the 1980s - present as seen through the eyes of a survivor. 3. Magic Realism: This is a new area I have begun working in. Rather than go into a long discourse on the subject I ask that you visit my sit where you will find a brief history of the genre as well as numerous artists statements for specific pieces.
