uniQue de$igns is a company based in Ohio. Founded by an artist located in a small town outside of Canton in 2006. uniQue de$igns supplies in designing custom sneakers, apparel, graffiti, skateboards, canvas' and many more. Producing a large amount of sneakers, we have made our way to becoming word of mouth, even in Japan. The designers sneakers are made right out of her own home. There's no special building or company that is being used to reproduce our custom sneakers. Word of mouth started to rise as the artist started to sell sneakers out of the local mall and even overseas. She has made a big name for herself. Our custom sneakers range depending on how detailed the design is. uniQue de$igns provides the sneakers, and ships them out to you a.s.a.p with our certificate of ownership. This tells you that you'r owning an exact design from us. Since the high demand on sneakers, they take about 2-3 weeks to design, since these are individually handpainted. ABOUT ME: PERSONALLY:
Hello to everyone on Myspace. My name is Melissa aka the "COOL NERD", I'm 5'2'', small and 19 years of age and I'm currently attending Stark State College of Technology in North Canton, Ohio. I'm majoring in Web Design and Development. I've been living in Ohio my whole life and hope to move to a bigger city to pursue my dreams. I have many, many hobbies/interests to name: I love to write lyrics, I have been since I was in 9th grade, 14 years old. Back then I was really into writing, and slowly starting to gain it back. Writing really helps me express the way that I feel, without verbally saying it. I haven't really wrote a song in about a year, but will get back into doing that. I wanted to become an emcee(rapper), but fell into art. But I will never, never, stop writing lyrics. Hip-Hop has been apart of me since day 1. It's what really got me into customizing sneakers. I also love videogames, believe it or not, knowing that I'ma female, but think they are very fun and interesting. My dream would be to come out with my own gaming console. But in order to make it, you have to work hard, no matter what, you can't sit back and wish a million dollars will fall in your lap. You have to work for it. Hard word pays off! When I was 13, I actually drew out some blueprints and already had a name for it. I even sent a letter to Microsoft and everything, they told me to read this book about building a console and all. I still have it. I was too young at the time. I recently wrote another letter, giving them my background about me. And now I'm still interested in doing that. But I just know it would take so much work to do that. I've been playing videogames since I was a toddler, I remember the Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Sega etc. We still have all of those consoles. Anyways, I love drawing, airbrushing, painting and anything that involves being creative in the mind. I love to work with my hands and I try to keep myself busy, because I don't like being bored. I have so many interests and hobbies, it's rediculous.
I love eating even though I'm as small as I am. Working with computers and HTML code. I'm somewhat a "cool nerd", because I like to be cool and stay fly, but also learn new things. I was always like that back in school. Always finding the rarest, hard to find clothes, and on top of that, educating myself to learn better, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. I'm like Bill Gates dressed in Hip-Hop clothes....WORD!
Back to my interests, I'm very old-fashioned, I like old movies from back in the early 1900s. Psycho, and Birds, ya know, those black and white movies. I feel I have different personalities. I like nostalgic things, like old record players, and old music, but on the flip side, I like cool, hip things. I like old classic television shows like "I Love Lucy", she tickles me with her silly self. "The Brady Bunch", I love that show, I always record those old shows on the DVR in my room...yep, good times back then. I ABSOLUTELY love "Back to the Future pt.1-3" such a damn classic. And the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. I'm still a funky cool kid, I love the 80s, I mean, look at me and my profile. I'm so into the whole retro 80s, gold rope chains and sneakers and skinny jeans. Some people are into it just because it's the hot thing now days, but I've ALWAYS been into it since I was younger. I was someone that always respected classic times or things, like classic shows, sneakers, movies etc. I just feel like, you should respect South Bronx, New York, because if it never was born there, then there'd be no Hip-Hop. Well, I like different kinds of music, just look at my music scroll bar. Hip-Hop, Reggae, 80s rock, jazz, old school hip-hop etc. I'm a music junkie.
