Each song, be it original or standard, is belted with the smoothness of Nancy Wilson, the huskiness of Phyllis Hyman, and the lows of Sarah Vaughan, in a range that reaches five octaves.

She performed with Bennie Maupin of Head Hunters fame and Reggie Calloway of Midnight Star. Sat in with Roy Ayers. Opened for Nancy Wilson, Phil Perry, Maxi Priest, and Jennifer Lewis. Toured the Midwest, Kentucky, and Tennessee.
